We’re proud to share that Ammie Nichols, one of our dedicated Funeral Arrangers, recently took part in the 5K Race for Life to raise funds and awareness for cancer research.
Ammie took on the challenge not just as a personal goal, but as a tribute to the many people in her life and the lives of those she supports in her role, who have been affected by cancer.
“Cancer has affected the lives of so many people I know and care about. Whether it’s friends, family, colleagues or the families we care for as funeral directors, almost everyone knows someone who has battled with cancer. Running the Race for Life to raise money and awareness was for me a meaningful way to honour people who have lost their life and to support ongoing efforts to find better treatments and one day maybe, a cure.” – Ammie Nichols
The Race for Life is a nationwide event that brings together thousands of participants to raise money for life-saving research. We are incredibly proud of Ammie’s dedication and commitment, both in her professional role and her charitable efforts.
